By the grace of Swami, the Jagatsinghpur district task force meeting was held on 24.01.10 at Dhaltang Garh forest at the place where Bhakta Dhruva had done the meditation as informed by the Mahant of the Matha in the jungle. The convenors and service cordinators of all 7 samithis and Bhajan mandalis under the samithis had attended the event. State president of the Sathyasai Seva Organisation, Prof Harikrishna Dash had graced the occassion.

Summer course - 2009

Sairam !!
By grace of Swami this year's dist level summer course will be starting on 21.05.2009 [thursday] till 24.05.2009 [sunday] at Paradip. This programme especially is held for teenagers, college/school going youths at our Mandir. This year restrictions is made for max 150 nos youths. This year, our beloved Shri PJ Rao has consented to attend the summer course. Also Prof. Bijay Kumar Mishra from Puttaparthi, Dr.M.Sainath [Happens to an ex student of Swami] from Hyderabad, Prof. Bhimsen Dash from Cuttack have agreed to deliver their talks in the summer course. I have appealed to the employed Sai youths to contribute for this summer course. I shall request all sai youths and ex balvikash students from our Paradip Samithy to be in touch with us by email [ saipapu@aol.in OR sairam.acharya@gmail.com ] or phones [ 99374 35199 - Bipin bhai, 97774 62488 - Papu] so that we can have a data bank of Paradip Sai Pariwar and we can try to be a part of Sai mission.

By grace of Swami the 1st Sadhana Camp of 2009 was held at our Mandir on 10.04.2009 [Good Friday] at 0930 hrs. The programme started with Omkaram, Bhjans and subsequently 21 times chanting of Omkaram, 21 time chanting of Vedic Gayatri, Chanting of Astotara Satanama, Likhita Japa for 10 minutes, Meditation for 5 minutes, reading of Divine message. Thereafter youth sister Kum. Kirtimayi Mohanty and brother Shri Bijay Ketan Swain discussed about the participation of sai family members, active workers in various sevas conducted by the Samithy with purity in heart. Shri Bhajanananda bhai of Samjori also spoke about his experience. Reports of various wings of Samithy was read by the respective coordinators and youth leaders. Brother Shri Bijay Prasad Kanungo, District President Shri Pradeep Kumar Das, Trust Member Shri Antaryami Pattnaik, Brother Shri Bipin Bihari Panigrahi, Convenor Shri Iswara Chandra Sethi also spoke to the participants and guided youths. Prof. Bhimsen Dash delivered his speech on Swami's divine messages. Shri Dhananjay Dash, the founding member of our Samithy was given farewell from Paradip by our Samithy members. He was presented with some spiritual books of Swami. Shri Dhananjay Dash retired from Port Trust service. He was emotional when he narrated his experience in the organisation and his days in Prasanthi service with other founding members like Shri Bidhan Chandra Mishra, Shri Krushan Sahoo, Shri Antaryami Pattnaik. Prof. Bhimsen Dash offered Aarati to Swami. Finally Prasadam was distributed to all.

Monthly youth meet on 14.03.2009 and visit of sai youths to villages

By grace of Swami the the monthly youth meet was held on 14.03.2009 at the mandir. The meet started with 30 mins bhajan, chanting of slokas, Likhita Japa, Meditation etc. Thereafter the question and answer session was held referring to Satyopanishad, Vol.1 by Prof. Anil Kumar. Shri Bijay Prasad Kanungo from Cuttack was invited to enlighten the youths who agreed to participate in the meet and guided the youths. He advised the youths to participate in the Sri Sathyasai Housing Projects at Samjori and Mahanangala. Accordingly the girl wing of the Sai youths had visited the villages on 15.03.2009 and rendered various seva to the village folks. The meet also discussed about sincerely maintaining of spiritual diary and Likhita Japa which should be submitted at the lotus feet of Swami once in every week or month. Every sunday there will be training of Bhajan and Veda which has been discontinued for some weeks. At the end, aarati was offered to Swami by Shri Bijay Prasad Kanungo. Shri Bipin Bihari Panigrahi, Shri Iswar Chandra Sethi, Shri Jitendra Kumar Acharya and other elders of the Samithy also attended the meet and guided the youths. Prasad was distributed to all.

Sairam !!
On 27th Feb, 2009, another gal of our Sai family member, Baby, daughter of Dhananjay Mausa got married. On 26th Varsha, Nikhil Mausa's daughter also had got married. Had chance of meeting our ex family members like Premashila mausi [gurumaa], Satapathy mausi, Rabi mausa [Mamunaja] to name a few. We are loosing our family members from our Sai family by way of marriage, retirements etc. etc. Let Swami guide us. Sairam.

Another member of our Sai family, Paradip, Liku left us entering into Grahastya Dharma on 16.02.2009. Shri Shankar Puti also got married on 15.02.2009 at Bhubaneswar. Both were ex students of Swami.
